Visitors looking for an easier walk can try the circle trail that surrounds Chadsy Lake. Horseback riding, paragliding and hang-gliding are also popular activities in the park. Glen Valley Regional Park Lying along the Fraser River between Langley and Abbotsford, the Glen Valley Regional Park, also known as Fraser Islands Regional Park, offers fishing, kayaking and picnicking to river-goers. Mill Lake - Centennial Park Check out the view of Mount Baker from the floating boardwalk on Mill Lake or go fishing. A popular spot for walking and running, the path travelling around the lake is 2 km (1.2 mi) long. Visitors can enjoy the outdoor pool, spray park and playgrounds available in the park, and when they tire there are quiet picnic areas in which to relax. Rowboats and canoes can be used on the lake as well.

Golden Ears Provincial Park This provincial park, situated in the Coast Mountains, is located 11 km from Maple Ridge, or a 45-minute drive from Abbotsford.
