On Canada Day each year, the City of Abbotsford hosts an afternoon of free entertainment, hay rides, train rides, face painting, dog agility demonstration, childrens' activities, display exhibits, a fit walk and games.
The event is held at Abbotsford Exhibition Park and most events take place at Rotary Stadium and on the soccer fields.

This five day summer agricultural fair attracts 41,000 visitors each year to Abbotsford. The fair features agricultural displays, family entertainment, arts and crafts, animals, midway and fireworks, but the headline fun is the professional rodeo on Friday and Saturday and the well-known musicians. There is also mini-car racing and demolition derbies.

EAT! Fraser Valley is an exciting new consumer food, beverage and cooking show. This Fraser Valley food festival will take place at Tradex, Abbotsford. The food expo features hundreds of food, beverage and kitchen goods exhibitors, wineries, breweries, restaurants, cooking demonstrations, wine and cheese seminars, chef competitions.
